Honeywell Appoints Nigel Brockett As APAC President

KUALA LUMPUR, Honeywell, the United States-based conglomerate, has appointed Nigel Brockett as president of Asia Pacific, entrusting him with oversight of a diverse and strategically critical region.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Brockett’s responsibilities will encompass Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.

In a statement, Honeywell International Sdn Bhd said Brockett’s role will be pivotal in ensuring the company continues to capitalise on three significant megatrends: automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.

Honeywell president and chief executive officer of global high growth regions, Anant Maheshwari, said Brockett’s extensive experience in leading high-performing, cross-business teams, combined with his in-depth understanding of the dynamic Asia Pacific market, would be crucial to the company’s ongoing expansion in the region.

‘Our portfolio of innovative technologies for fast-growth industries is the perfect fit for
companies across the region embarking on their automation and energy transition journeys.

“I look forward to working closely with our team across Asia Pacific to ensure we remain focused on helping our customers meet their growth goals in alignment with their broader business objectives,’ Brockett said, commenting on his appointment.

Brockett has been with Honeywell for more than 20 years, holding a series of senior leadership positions across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
