A total of 69,937 people toured Cambodia in the second weekend of July, a decline of 5.23 percent compared to the previous week and of 62.19 percent compared to the same period of 2020.
The figures were shared yesterday by Minister of Tourism H.E. Thong Khon, adding that of the domestic visitors, 68,770 were national tourists, and 1,167 were foreign visitors.
The most visited tourist destinations were Phnom Penh capital, followed by Kampot, Preah Sihanouk, Kampong Speu, Battambang, and Kandal provinces, he pointed out.
Coastal and ecotourism areas remained the most attractive among the domestic tourists, underlined H.E. Minister.
