Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has requested Trkiye companies to seek investment opportunities in Cambodia.

The Cambodian top diplomat made the request while he and H.E. Mustafa TUZCU, Deputy Minister of Trade of Trkiye, were attending in Ankara on May 27 the Cambodia-Trkiye Business Luncheon, with the participation of over 30 company representatives, according to a news release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation this evening.

H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea encouraged Trkiye companies to seek investment opportunities in Cambodia in potential fields, such as tourism, agriculture, agro-processing, logistics, hotel management and construction

H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea also asked the Turkish side to choose Cambodia as a gateway to expand their investment in Southeast Asia – a vast market under the framework of the existing ASEAN Free Trade Area and Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
