10 White Shouldered Ibis Nests Found

Ten White shouldered ibis nests have been discovered in Lomphat Landscape during 2018-2019 breeding season, according to BirdLife International Cambodia Programme.

Fourteen (14) chicks have been successfully hatched, added the same source.

White-shouldered ibis is categorised as Critically Endangered by International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) red list.

Less than 500 mature white-shouldered ibis remain in the wild today, around 400 of them in northern and eastern Cambodia.
