10th “NODOJIMAN” Japanese Song Contest To Be Held in Mid-July

The Embassy of Japan, in cooperation with the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Centre (CJCC), is going to hold the 10th NODOJIMAN Japanese Song Contest in mid-July.

According to the embassy’s press release, the event will take place on July 14, 2019 at the CJCC during the Tanabata Festival 2019.

The NODOJIMAN Japanese Song Contest has been held annually for the purpose of encouraging Japanese language learners to practice vocalisation of the language, said the press release, adding that this contest also aims to strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between the people of Japan and Cambodia through the Japanese songs.

While Japanese language learners of all levels are invited to apply for the contest, it is not an individual competition, but a school competition, underlined the same source.
