161 Cambodian Delegates and Athletes Depart for Training in China for SEA Games 2023

Toward 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia, 161 Cambodian delegates, coaches and athletes of 12 kinds of sports left Cambodia on Sept. 15 for training in the People’s Republic of China.
The training is made possible through the financial support from the Government and people of China.
The Cambodian athletes will get trained there until the SEA Games and after the SEA Games through the two-year training agreement.
A send-off ceremony was organised here on Sept. 13 to encourage them before their departure.
H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the Cambodian SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC) encouraged the Cambodian athletes to work hard and respect mandated disciplines and maintain dignity to better their capacity for SEA Games.
Of the 161, 2 are Cambodian delegates and coaches and 159 are athletes.
The 12 sports types include Gymnastics, Judo, Wushu, Basketball, Table Tennis, Athletics, Wrestling, Badminton, Swimming, Weightlifting, Soccer (Women) and Volleyball.
