2017: ATM Users Be Able to Withdraw Cashes from all Banks by NBC’s Central Shared Switch System

The National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) will put into use its Central Shared Switch system, which allows ATM users to withdraw their cashes and have payments via all banks across the country in 2017, according to a press release of NBC issued recently.

The Central Shared Switch system will create a connection between banks in the country that facilitates payments and cash withdrawal from all banks, Mr. In Channy, Executive Chief Officer of ACLEDA Bank Plc, told local media yesterday, indicating that the ATM users will pay for services if they withdraw cashes from different bank from their own.

This system is very important to ease cash withdrawal and payments at all places from different banks, as there are currently 51 commercial and specialised banks across the country, added Mr. In Channy.
