2021 Southeast Asian Championship Khmer Boxing Competition Postponed

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has postponed the competition of 2021 Southeast Asian Championship Khmer Boxing hosted by Cambodia.
An official letter from the minister H.E. Hang Chuon Naron to H.E. Tem Moeun, President of Cambodian Boxing Federation (CBF) explained that the postponement is due to the current COVID-19 situation in Cambodia.
According to Mr. Pich Sophen, Deputy Secretary General of CBF in charge of Techniques and Information Affairs, the competition initially scheduled for Oct. 17 to 24 might be delayed to 2022.
The competition partly aimed to increase the capacity of Cambodian athletes for the SEA Games 2022 in Vietnam and the 2023 SEA Games hosted by Cambodia, continue the deputy secretary general.
