The minister H.E. Veng Sakhon made the request during a meeting with Dr. Jae-Jin Chang, CEO of OrientCam here in Phnom Penh this week.

According to Dr. Jae-Jin Chang, Chairman of OrientCam Co., Ltd., his firm is interested in cooperating with the ministry on animal production and health skill training for agriculture students and those involved in animal husbandry and production.

There is a well-known agriculture university in Korea that helps train and disseminate new techniques related to animal production and health to livestock farmers and professional officials, underlined Dr. Jae-Jin.

H.E. Veng Sakhon welcomed the firm’s intention, stressing that there is still limited technique, practice and research works in Cambodia’s animal production.

The cooperation will be a good opportunity for Cambodian officials, students and farmers to develop their capacity contributing to Cambodia’s animal production and health development.
