INCHEON, Korea, Sept. 14, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Samsung Bioepis Co., Ltd. today announced that it has attained two ISO certifications: ISO 140001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 50001 (Energy Management System) from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), reflecting the company’s ongoing practices and commitment to becoming a sustainable company.

(DEA), singapore-based global GameFi company is pleased to announce that it has started a joint development with HEROZ Corporation (“HEROZ”) of KAMIYAGURA, an original NFT trading card game, aiming to launch on the company’s PlayMining platform in the fall of 2023.

KAMIYAGURA (tower of gods) is a next-generation trading card game that leverages NFT and crypto assets to create a new experience of the traditional type of game which has been popular around the world. The development partner for KAMIYAGURA is HEROZ Corporation, which will develop the battle system, deck construction, and play logic by utilizing its advanced AI technology acquired through the development of Shogi AI.

In addition, the game design for the card battles will be created by toy creator Shinpei Takahashi (Usagi Inc.), who has experience in developing numerous toys and games. Based on the existing popular card game system, a unique zone system called KAMIYAGURA will be incorporated to pursue deeper game experience.

Mr. Akira Hamada (Representative of designparfait Co., Ltd.) who has worked on the art direction of many well-known card games, will be in charge of character and art production for the card illustrations. Under Mr. Hamada’s direction, a number of creators are scheduled to participate in the project. The key visuals to be unveiled this time is designed by Jintetsu, who has experience in designing various game titles.

DEA will continue to expand the lineup of titles on PlayMining in order to provide “fun” and “surprise” through various contents to users all over the world.

Project to Promote Sustainable Energy in Garment Industry

Cambodia has inked a project to promote sustainable energy implementation in the country’s garment sector.
The project agreement was officially signed early this month by the Ministries of Environment and Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI).
H.E. Tung Ciny, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation; H.E. Vann Monyneath, Director General of the General Department of Policy and Strategy at the Ministry of Environment; and Ms. Shomi Kim, GGGI representative signed the agreement.
H.E. Tin Ponlok, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environment and 2nd Vice President of the National Council for Sustainable Development presided over the singing event that took pace at Kep province.
It is expected that the move will contribute to promoting competitiveness of Cambodia garment factories, responsive to the current global context.
The effort will also reduce the environmental impact of the industry
A project to promote sustainable energy funded by the European Union is being implemented by GGGI in collaboration with GERES and the Garment Manufacturers Association in Cambodia (GMAC).

Cambodian Athletes Departs for Training in China

Cambodia has sent 159 national athletes for 6-month training in China commencing this month, according to the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC).
Speaking at the send-off ceremony held on Sept. 13, H.E. Vath Chamroeun, NOCC Secretary General encouraged the Cambodian athletes to work very hard to get themselves ready for the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia.
Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy to Cambodia Mr. Wu Guoquan said that through the training, the Cambodian athletes will practice with the Chinese athletes.
China also supports necessary materials for the training to the Cambodian athletes, he added.
He stressed that the support reaffirms comprehensive partnership between the two countries and will further promote mutual understanding.

Cambodia, ADB Highly Appreciate Close Cooperation Partnership

Cambodia and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have lauded their close partnership and cooperation and looked forward to further strengthening them.
The appreciation was made during a meeting here on Sept. 13 between H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Ms. Jyotsana VARMA, newly appointed ADB Country Director for Cambodia.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, during the courtesy call, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister extended his warm welcome and congratulations to Ms. Jyotsana VARMA for her appointment. He underlined the importance of close cooperation partnership between Cambodia and ADB and thanked ADB, as one of Cambodia’s main development partners, for its assistance and financing toward Cambodia, which has contributed significantly to the socio-economic development in Cambodia.
Particularly during the critical time of global health threat, he continued, ADB assisted the Royal Government of Cambodia in its immediate response to the COVID-19 pandemic through programmes to strengthen the country’s health care system, increase social assistance to the poor and vulnerable, and provide economic stimulus to businesses, including SMEs.
Ms. Jyotsana VARMA was pleased with the close partnership and good cooperation between both sides. While expressing her optimism on Cambodia’s economic outlook, she further congratulated Cambodia, as the Chair of ASEAN, on the recent successful convening of the 55th AMM and Related Meetings in early August 2022, which highly reflected Cambodia’s stature in the international community.
