In total, there are 68 Cambodian students who are pursuing their respective academic degrees in Turkey, according to the Cambodian Prime Minister’s official Facebook page.
Of them, two are doctoral, seven are master’s, 18 are undergraduate students while 30 others are in Turkey for Islamic studies and 11 are high school students.
Thirty-five (35) of Cambodian students won the government scholarship programme, 30 are recipients of NGO scholarship and three students pay their own tuition fees.
They are pursuing their studies in the fields of IT engineering, education administration, international relations, civil engineering, human resource management, law, economics, tourism, medicine, pharmacy, political science, international trade, public health, and Islamic studies.
