Acting Commerce Minister Receives Winners of Australian and New Zealand Scholarships

Acting Minister of Commerce H.E. Kim Sithorn received here on Wednesday a delegation of 35 Cambodian winners of the Australian and New Zealand governments' scholarships.

According to the ministry's news release, H.E. Kim Sithorn expressed his congratulations to the scholarship winners and encouraged them to do their best in their studies so that they could contribute to the country's development upon their return.

He also briefed them on the ministry's background, mission and reform programme, as well as on policies and achievements obtained by the ministry in 2018.

Since 1994, 750 Cambodian students have pursued their master's and PhD studies at various universities in Australia and New Zealand under these scholarships.
