AFF Minister Meets Executive Director of Israeli Agricultural Training Centre

Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries H.E. Veng Sakhon received here on Monday Mr. Yaron Tamir, Executive Director of Agricultural Training Centre (ATC) of Israel.

ATC executive director asked the ministry for a 20-hectare plot of land for ATC to establish a model farm for Cambodian students who finished their studies in Israel to continue their research in Cambodia. The farm will also provide good opportunities for Cambodian farmers to receive training on new agricultural techniques from Israel, he added.

In reply, H.E. Veng Sakhon expressed thanks to ATC for providing training to Cambodian agricultural students and highly valued the good cooperation between the two countries in all sectors, especially in human resource development.
