AFI To Provide Long-Term MRO Services for Cambodia Angkor Air

A leading French aircraft maintenance company won the bidding to provide long-term services for Cambodia Angkor Air's airbus jet airliners.

An official agreement between the two partners, the Air France Industries (AFI) KLM Engineering and Maintenance and the Cambodia Angkor Air, was signed on Tuesday at Raffles Hotel Le Royal here in Phnom Penh.

Air France Industries' Senior Vice President Commercial Mr. Fabrice Defrance expressed his appreciation of the partnership and was committed to provide quality services.

According to the vice president, AFI offers maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) services globally. The company employs a total workforce of more than 14,000 who are experts in aircraft maintenance and is providing services for almost 2,000 aircrafts of its 200 customers.

The Cambodia Angkor Air management is positive that the partnership with AFI will not only improve the functioning of the company's aircraft, but will also ensure safety for passengers.

Established in 2009, Cambodia Angkor Air is providing both domestic flights and international flights. The group currently has seven aircraft and hopes to add more soon.
