Agriculture Ministry Appreciates Human Resource Development Cooperation with AgroStudies

Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) has appreciated agriculture human resources developed through cooperation with AgroStudies of Israel.

MAFF Minister H.E. Veng Sakhon expressed the appreciation when presiding over a recent graduation ceremony of 212 students at the Royal University of Agriculture who had successfully completed their 11-month training programme at AgroStudies in Israel.

He expressed he optimism that the students will apply the attained knowledge, skills and experience in a way contributing to the sector of Cambodia.

Agrostudies is an organisation that provides advanced studies and training in various agricultural fields in Israel for students from developing countries, including Cambodia.

Under the cooperation between the Royal University of Agriculture and AgroStudies since 2008, 888 Cambodian students have been exposed to unique apprenticeship in agriculture, combining advanced studies and hands on learning by doing in Israel.
