All Downtown Population with Access to Clean Water by 2025

AKP Phnom Penh, Residents in downtown Cambodia will have complete access to clean water by 2025, according to Senior Minister H.E. Cham Prasidh.

The senior minister and minister of industry and handicraft shared the government's commitment when presiding over a recent ground breaking of a new water treatment plant in Siem Reap province.

In 2025, he added, about 90 percent of the population will have access to safe piped water, while the rest can benefit from other sources.

Currently, 85 percent of downtown dwellers have access to clean water.
