An International Food Processing Company Plans to Invest in Building a Candy Factory in Phnom Penh

Aprati Food (CAMBODIA) Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Aprati Foods Holdings Pte Ltd. (AFH), will invest in the construction of a candy factory in Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone in Cambodia.

According to Cambodia’s Ministry of Environment’s news release, the company has conducted the social and environmental impact assessment whose report was examined in an inter-ministerial meeting held at the Ministry of Environment early this week.

Aprati Food (CAMBODIA) Ltd was registered at the Ministry of Commerce in August 2013.

AFH is a Singaporean holding company founded in June 2013. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Licorice Company (ALC), based in the United States and founded in 1914.
