ASEAN-Korea Centre Holds Investment and Business Environment Seminar on Cambodia

The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) in collaboration with the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), organised an Investment and Business Environment Seminar on Cambodia in Seoul, the Republic of Korea on June 29 to provide the Korean business community with up-to-date information on investment environment of Cambodia’s agricultural industry.

“Cambodian agricultural industry has been rising as an attractive investment destination with high quality products and steady growth,” said H.E. Kim Young-sun, Secretary General of AKC, stressing that the seminar would serve as a platform for Korean companies to further expand their business into Cambodia.

According to a press release of AKC, there were briefings on investment environment and business opportunities in Cambodia given by H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea, Minister attached to the Prime Minister and Secretary General of CDC, and other representatives from government organisations such as the Cambodian Investment Board, the Cambodian Special Economic Zone Board, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
