Australia has pledged to cooperate with the Royal Government of Cambodia in enhancing the safety in construction industry, adding that it is part of strengthening the cooperation between the two countries.
The discussion on the cooperation was held held here this morning between H.E. Chea Sophara, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction and H.E. Pablo Chiho Kang, Australian Ambassador to Cambodia.
After that, the two sides signed a cooperation agreement on Promoting Construction Safety in Cambodia.
The ministry stated that the cooperation agreement will improve safety and health at construction sites in line with the Law of Construction enacted in November 2019.
