Cambodia Beats Timor Leste 2-0 in a Friendly Soccer Match

Cambodian national team defeated Timor Leste national team 2-0 in an international friendship soccer match held yesterday evening at the National Olympic Stadium, Phnom Penh, with the participation of ten thousands of supporters.

"This is the pride of Cambodia as a whole," underlined Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in a Facebook post.

The Cambodian premier also called for more participation from the youths in the sports sector.

In addition, Samdech Techo Hun Sen announced to award the footballers and their coach with a cash prize of US$1,000 each, through Gen. Sao Sokha, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie of Cambodia and Chairman of Cambodia Football Federation.
