Cambodia Benefits Greatly from International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 in Beijing

The Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 in Beijing, China has offered Cambodia an opportunity not only to strengthen environmental protection and natural conservation and enhance tourism, but also to promote cooperation in the areas of trade and investments.

Cambodian Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak made the remarks last Saturday while attending Cambodia Day at the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 in Beijing.

The Kingdom, he said, has chosen the theme "Living in Harmony with Nature" for this year's Cambodia Day to show the world its cultural, artistic and natural richness.

The Cambodian minister also expressed the support of Cambodia for China in organising the international expo and affirmed the Kingdom's continued participation in this annual event in order to consolidate and expand cooperation with China as well as with other countries in the protection of natural environment.

H.E. Pan Sorasak also thanked the Chinese government, especially the organising committee for coordinating Cambodia's participation in this important exhibition.

The International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 in Beijing lasts six months, from April 29 to Oct. 7, 2019. According to the Ministry of Commerce, since Aug. 31, the National Pavilion of Cambodia, erected during the expo, has attracted a total of more than 400,000 visitors to learn about the Kingdom's culture, tradition and products.
