Cambodia Builds More Links with Many Countries at 25th World Economic Forum on ASEAN

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen underlined that Cambodia has established more friendship and links with various countries through her participation in the 25th World Economic Forum on ASEAN held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on June 01-02, 2016.

In a Facebook post yesterday, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said during the two-day event attended by many participants from different countries, Cambodia has increased friendship and built more links with many countries to boost more cooperation, especially in the field of economy which is the main artery of the country development.

According to the premier, in this new millennium, not only Cambodia, but every country needs experience sharing and comprehensive cooperation strengthening in order to speed up the national development. The current Cambodia’s economic growth shows the positive progress, but at the same time, Cambodia has to maintain political stability, social security, and peace to attract more and more foreign investors. Meanwhile, Cambodia has to promote human resource development with both technical and language skills along with the IT skills.

A video clip on Cambodia and her potential was screened at the official closing ceremony of the 25th World Economic Forum on ASEAN as Cambodia will host the next forum in 2017, said Samdech Techo Hun Sen, hoping that it will help attract more foreign investors and tourists to the Kingdom.
