Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen said Cambodia will end the land registration in 2023.
Addressing to the closing ceremony of the annual meeting of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction and the inauguration ceremony of the National Construction Laboratory, held here this afternoon, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said some 6,7 million plots of land or 96.2 percent have been so far registered, therefore this process can achieve 100 percent next year.
At the same time, Samdech Techo Hun Sen also encouraged the local authorities to further contribute to this commitment.
“Local authorities, especially the governor of each province, must manage well the state’s land, community land as well as the people’s land,” he said.
Samdech Techo Prime Minister stressed that land dispute is not a new social issue in Cambodia, it occurs after the country is in peace.
