PHNOM PENH, Feb 12 (NNN-KHMER TIMES) -- Seven of the 10 foreigners accused of organising porn dancing parties in Siem Reap were released on bail last week by the provincial court and deported between Thursday and Saturday.

Siem Reap provincial court spokesman Yin Srang and a lawyer for the foreigners, Ouch Sopheaktra, told Khmer Times on Monday that seven foreigners were bailed last week and had been deported.

All seven foreigners have left Cambodia via Siem Reap airport on Thursday to Saturday, he said.

They were temporarily deported from Cambodia and they have not heard the final verdict yet and they did not pay anything.

There are still three foreigners, from the UK, Norway and the Netherlands, in prison awaiting trial, Sopheaktra added.

Court spokesman Srang said the investigating judge decided to deport all seven, but he did not know why the decision was taken.

The 10 were arrested in Siem Reap after organising what officials described as a porn dancing party at a venue in the tourist town, which another 77 foreigners took part in. -- NNN-KHMER TIMES
