Cambodia Detects No New COVID-19 Case for Second Day

There is no new infection of COVID-19 reported in Cambodia for two days in a row; the tally thus remains at 136,262, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health made public this morning.
Moreover, there is a new recovery and no new death; the total cured cases and death toll stood at 133,182 and 3,056, respectively.
In his recent voice message, Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen attributed this success to the efforts and participation of all health officers, authorities at all levels, armed forces, especially each individual, in fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic, and thanked all friendly countries for providing COVID-19 vaccines for Cambodia.
Anyway, the Premier kept appealing to his compatriots to continue to protect themselves by sticking to the health safety rules.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
