Cambodia Earns US$300 Million from Rubber Export in January-August

Cambodia has generated a total of US$300 million from the export of dry rubber during the first eight months of 2022, a year-on-year decrease of 6.4 percent, according to an official report released on Tuesday.
A report from the General Directorate of Rubber showed that the country exported 194,014 tonnes of dry rubber from January to August this year, a slight rise of 1 percent compared to the first eight months of 2021.
A tonne of dry rubber averagely cost US$1,553 during the said period, about US$119 lower than that of the same period last year, read the statement.
