Cambodia Hosts 2nd Agriculture and Aquaculture

Cambodia concludes today the second agriculture and aquaculture exposition happening at Diamond Island (Koh Pich) Convention and Exhibition Centre here in Phnom Penh.

Lasting from Aug. 2 to 4, the exposition intends to encourage productivity and quality of the agriculture and aquaculture for more competitive advantage.

Over 40 local and international companies from China, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan of China, United States of America and Vietnam joined the exposition.

According to Mr. Sar Chetra Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery, the three-day exposition displays a wide range of products, from processed food and meat to fertiliser and plants.

The exposition, he said, plays a vital role in networking among local and international business operators, producers and farmers.
