Cambodia Hosts First Ever Cambodian-Thai Young Leaders’ Forum

The first ever Cambodian-Thai Young Leaders’ Forum was organised here in Phnom Penh on May 4 by the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) in cooperation with the Royal Thai Embassy in Cambodia and Cambodia-Thailand Friendship Association to promote existing good bilateral relations between the two neighbouring countries.

Minister Attached to the Prime Minister and Secretary General of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea, Ambassador of Thailand to Cambodia H.E. Nuttavudh Photisaro, Cambodian Lawmaker and President of UYFC H.E. Hun Many, President of Thailand-Cambodia Friendship Association H.E. Gen. Vichit Yathip, and Secretary General of Cambodia-Thailand Friendship Association H.E. Kim Roth Viseth presided over the event with many successful young entrepreneurs of both countries in attendance.

Besides the promotion and enhancement of the cooperation between the two countries’ people, the forum also allowed the young participating leaders to show the investment and trade potential of their respective countries, and exchange views on possibility of creating joint investment, business and development projects for mutual interests.
