Cambodia Looks Forward to SEA Games 2022 Hosting Experience

Cambodia has assigned delegation and technical teams to pick up hosting experience of the SEA Games 2022 to be held from May 12 to 23 in Vietnam.
The intention was shared by H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the Cambodia SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC), following a meeting chaired by H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism and Permanent Vice President of CAMSOC here in Phnom Penh on Feb. 22.
The tasked delegation and teams are expected to draw experience in terms of event organisation and other technical aspects from the games, continued H.E. Vath Chamroeun.
CAMSOC has also prepared a special delegation of Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence and President of CAMSOC to receive the SEA Games flag from Vietnam in the official closing ceremony of the event on May 23.
According to H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Cambodia is expected to include 32 or 33 kinds of sports out of 40 sport types set for the SEA Games 2022 in Vietnam.
