Cambodia, Malaysia to Further Boost Cooperation in Airline and Seaport

Cambodia and Malaysia have agreed to further boost cooperation in airline and Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS) development.

According to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT), the discussion on the cooperation was held between Senior Minister and Minister of MPWT H.E. Sun Chanthol, and H.E. Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim, Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia, at the ministry office recently.

H.E. Sun Chanthol suggested Malaysia to cooperate with Cambodian Civil Aviation for airline sector, and to pay a visit to Sihanoukville Autonomous Port for the detailed information.

He also thanked Malaysia for the cooperation with Cambodia as well as his ministry, including its support in railroad step stool so far, and requested more stools for future use.

For his side, H.E. Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim promised to encourage more Malaysian investors and railroad companies to visit and study Cambodia’s potential railway system.
