Cambodia Marks 9th Anniversary of Preah Vihear Temple’s Registration as World Heritage Site

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this morning expressed his congratulations over the 9th Anniversary of Preah Vihear Temple's Registration as a World Heritage Site.

Currently, the famous Preah Vihear Temple of Cambodia has been attracting many national and international visitors, said the premier in a Facebook post.

He took the opportunity to call on all local and foreign tourists to visit this magnificent temple and take part in safeguarding other ancient temples throughout the country for the next generations.

The Khmer sacred 11th-century Preah Vihear Temple was listed as a World Heritage Site on July 7, 2008 during the 32nd session of the World Heritage Committee held in Quebec, Canada.
