Cambodia has been preparing to host the ASEAN Tourism Forum in two weeks, according to the Ministry of Tourism.
H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism and H.E. Kuoch Chamroeun, Governor of Preah Sihanouk province held a preparatory meeting on Sunday and led a delegation to inspect the venue for the forthcoming ASEAN Tourism Forum 2022 (ATF 2022).
Cambodia will host the 40th ASEAN Tourism Forum from Jan. 16 to 22, 2022 in Preah Sihanouk coastal province.
Tourism ministers and senior officials from the ten ASEAN Member States have confirmed to join the ATF 2022 and other related meetings, the ministry said, adding that 107 buyers from 35 countries, including 7 local buyers, will participate in the TRAVEX, the forum’s travel trade fair, of 187 stands.
H.E Thong Khon recommended all relevant working groups to cooperate with the provincial authorities to ensure the smooth and safe process of ATF 2022 in conformity with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Ministry of Health and the SOP for Tourism of Preah Sihanouk provincial administration.
