Cambodia, Russia Discuss Final Draft on Nuclear Cooperation for Peace

Cambodia and Russia have discussed the final draft on nuclear cooperation for peace toward bilateral agreement late this year.

Secretary General of the Cambodian National Council for Sustainable Development H.E. Tin Ponlok and his delegation sat recently with the Russian team led by Deputy Director, Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation H.E. Sergey Todeson here in Phnom Penh to discuss the document.

According to H.E. Tin Ponlok, the meeting aimed to finalise the paperwork ready for an official agreement between Cambodia and Russia.

As planned, the agreement is expected to be officially signed by the two sides in Moscow, the capital city of Russia, in August this year.
