Cambodia, Saudi Arabia to Boost Visit Exchange

Cambodia and Saudi Arabia have agreed to boost the exchange of visits between the two countries in order to strengthen their relationship.
During their courtesy meeting here on Jan. 27, Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and H.E. Saud F.M Al Suwelim, newly appointed Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Cambodia, shared the same idea over the importance of visit exchange to foster the relations and cooperation between both nations in various sectors, including trade, economy, investment, security, and fight against cross-border crimes.
Samdech Sar Kheng also laid stress on religious harmony in Cambodia, affirming that Cambodian Muslims have been enjoying equal rights and opportunities as Cambodian Buddhists without discrimination.
For his part, the Hanoi-based Saudi Arabian ambassador thanked the Royal Government of Cambodia fofr its attention to Cambodian Muslims and wished the Kingdom success in its role as the rotating Chair of ASEAN for 2022.
