Cambodia Supports Peaceful Korean Peninsula

Cambodia condemned provocations that threaten peace, security and stability in Korean peninsula, reported H.E. Chum Sounry, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

H.E. Chum Sounry shared the note right after the June 29 meeting between Minister H.E. Prak Sokhonn and visiting South Korea's Vice Defense Minister H.E. Hwang In-moo at the ministry office here in Phnom Penh.

H.E. Prak Sokhonn, as added the spokesperson, told H.E. Hwang In-moo that Cambodia considered all provocative acts as the violation of the United Nations Security Council's resolution.

Cambodia also encouraged quick rearrangement of six-party talk on denuclearization in Korean peninsula.

South Korea's Vice Defense Minister appreciated Cambodia's stand and shared latest update of the situation with H.E. Prak Sokhonn.
