Cambodia, Thailand Sign MoU on Transboundary Biodiversity Conservation

The General Directorate of Administration for Nature Conservation and Protection at Cambodia's Ministry of Environment and the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation at Thailand's Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment have reached a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on transboundary biodiversity conservation cooperation.

According to the Ministry of Environment's news release, the MoU was signed in Chiang Mai, Thailand in late January under the witness of Cambodian Environment Minister H.E. Say Samal and his Thai counterpart H.E. Gen. Surasak Karnjanarat.

Under the MoU, both sides will cooperate on the protected area and transboundary biodiversity conservation landscapes management.
