The National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) was invited to join the discussion on “Foundational Digital Infrastructure for Inclusive Digital Economies” to be held on April 26, from 16:00 to 17:00 Cambodian time.
H.E. Chea Serey, Assistant Governor and Director General of the NBC’s Central Banking, will be a panelist in the discussion in SFF Green Shoots Series organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
According to an NBC’s announcement released this afternoon, the discussion will focus on (1) the state of digital infrastructure (2) the role of financial institutions and FinTech in expanding these infrastructures (3) driving toward interoperable and connected infrastructure across jurisdictions.
SFF Green Shoots Series are e-meetups for the global FinTech community aiming to provide insight and experience sharing from leading speakers from around the world such as Mr. Ravi Menon, Managing Director of MAS and distinguished guests of other Central Banks and Monetary Authorities, it underlined.
On the occasion, continued the announcement, MAS will also launch the White Paper on Digital Infrastructure which is the first achievement of the Global Foundational Stack initiated by MAS and participated by many central banks in the world including the National Bank of Cambodia.
