Cambodia To Discuss with Belarus on Trade and Economic Cooperation Next Month

Cambodia and Belarus will hold the 2nd Joint Committee of Trade and Economic Cooperation Session from June 28 to 30 in Minsk, the capital city of Belarus.

Earlier this week, senior officials of both countries discussed the preparation of this upcoming meeting in the presence of H.E. Ms. Tekreth Kamrang, Secretary of State for Commerce, and H.E. Vladimir Goshin, Ambassador of Belarus to Cambodia, according to a news release of the Ministry of Commerce.

Agriculture, food processing, textiles, tourism, education and science, etc. will be listed on the agenda of the forthcoming 2nd session, it added.

The parties also agreed to speed up the review substance of draft agreements and MoUs, which had not been signed in order to submit and seek approval from the supreme leaders of Cambodia and Belarus, said the news release.
