Cambodia To further Promote Tourism Market in China

Cambodia's Minister of Tourism H.E. Thong Khon has urged his officials to further promote the tourism market in China.

At the meeting here yesterday to review the Ministry of Tourism's work achievements in the first semester of this year, H.E. Thong Khon called for the increase of tourism promotion and marketing at major tourism markets, especially in China through participating in different expos, organising road show, and strengthening digital marketing (Website, Facebook, Mobile App) as well as producing video spots.

Cambodia expected to welcome one million Chinese tourists by the close of 2017.

Ministry of Tourism has introduced the so-called Chinese Ready, White Book in order to attract expectedly two million Chinese visitors to Cambodia a year by 2020.

In the first four months of this year, some 390,000 Chinese tourists visited Cambodia � about 30 percent increase compared to the same period in 2016.
