Cambodia will host the Southeast Asian Sports Council Meeting for SEA Games 2023 in April this year.

The update was shared by H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the Cambodia SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC) following a meeting to prepare for the host of the Southeast Asian Sports Council Meeting organised on Mar. 24.

Happening via a videoconference, the meeting was presided over by H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism and CAMSOC’s Permanent Deputy President.

As planned, the Southeast Asian Sports Council Meeting for SEA Games 2023 will take place on April 9-10 in Siem Reap province under the presidency of Tourism Minister H.E. Thong Khon.

The meeting aims to seek additional support, especially to discuss progresses and challenges for Cambodia’s hosting of SEA Games 2023, he added.

H.E. Thong Khon urged for close cooperation among all key players to ensure good process of the Southeast Asian Sports Council Meeting.
