Cambodia To Host WEF’s First Open Forum Next Week

Cambodia is going to host the World Economic Forum (WEF)’s First Open Forum on The ASEAN Dream at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, Phnom Penh on May 10, 2017.

According to a WEF’s news release, the upcoming event, which is part of the WEF on ASEAN in Phnom Penh on May 10-12, 2017, has been developed to give today’s students an opportunity to discuss what their future might look like.

Mr. Anthony F. Fernandes, Group Chief Executive Officer, AirAsia, Malaysia; H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister of Cambodia; Ms. Wai Wai Nu, Founder and Director, Women Peace Network, Myanmar; and Mr. William Tanuwijaya, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Tokopedia, Malaysia will be the speaker of the special session to be introduced by Mr. Philipp RAlsler, Head of Regional and Government Engagement, Member of Managing Board, WEF; and moderated by Mr. Jamil Edmond Anderlini, Asia Editor, Financial Times, Hong Kong SAR.
