Cambodia To Increase Export of Banana Sugar and Wine

Cambodia is going to increase the export of banana sugar and wine to international markets shortly, according to local media report.

As quoted in the source, local owner of the products Mr. Lim Phara underlined that the products have been introduced in Chinese markets and exported to South Korea and Japan.

Thanks to the rising support, he continued, his company is producing more of the products and intend to export to more countries.

The sugar and wine are made from ripe banana grown in Chamkar Leu district of Kampong Cham province.

He added that his enterprise has the capacity to produce 3 to 4 tons of banana sugar, and 3,000 to 4,000 bottles of banana wine a month.
