Cambodia Wins Gold Medals at 2021 International Martial Arts Contest

Cambodia has won three gold and two silver medals at the 2021 International Martial Arts Contest in South Korea.
Happening on Oct. 31, the online competition attracted the participation of some 220 athletes from 12 countries, including Cambodia, Laos, Egypt, Philippines, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, S. Korea, Iran, Uzbekistan and Ghana.
H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of Cambodia Kun Bokator Federation, considered the move as another honour for Cambodia.
He expected that the Cambodian Khmer martial arts will be well known to the world as Cambodia has earned more medals for the sport, and his federation is training athletes hard.
The gold medals were earned for the subjects of Bare Hands Female Single category, Bare Hands Mixed Gender Duo category, and while the silver ones were received for Bare Hands Male Single category and Weapon Mixed Gender Duo category.
The International Martial Arts Contest is organised annually in South Korea by the World Martial Arts Union (WoMAU).
