Cambodian and Chinese Traders Meet to Boost Mutual Trading

AKP Phnom Penh, Cambodian and Chinese traders have gathered here in Phnom Penh recently for experience sharing and networking to boost cooperation in the area.

Mr. Nguon Meng Tech, Director General of Cambodia Commerce Chamber, is positive that the exercise will essentially contribute to increasing trade volume between the two countries.

China, he added, is Cambodia’s important trade partner and key source of foreign direct investments.

Figure shows that Cambodia and China trade volume was US$4,800 million in 2016; and it is expected to rise to US$5 billion by the close of 2017.
