Cambodian Commerce Secretary of State Receives Ambassador of Kazakhstan

Cambodia's Secretary of State for Commerce H.E. Mrs. Tekreth Kamrang held talks here on July 19 with H.E. Beketzhan Zhumakhanov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Cambodia.

According to the ministry's news release, in the meeting, H.E. Mrs. Tekreth Kamrang expressed her sincere thanks to the Kazakh delegation for visiting Cambodia and the Ministry of Commerce to discuss trade and related issues.

For his part, H.E. Beketzhan Zhumakhanov shared his sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Commerce for a warm welcome to him and his delegation and expressed his intention to cooperate in transport sector, particularly waterway transport connection from Kazakhstan to Cambodia.

Moreover, H.E. Ambassador emphasised the intention of Kazakhstan to import Cambodian commodities including fruits, sugar, rice and textiles. In addition, he indicated that Kazakhstan intends to export steels, wheat, beef and animal feed to Cambodia.
