Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this morning encouraged the private sector to strengthen and expand local investment opportunities.
While paying an inspecting visit to the construction site of the new Phnom Penh International Airport in Prek Sleng commune, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said reducing loan dependence on foreign sources is an opportunity to foster local investment.
The Premier continued that some local companies have used the majority of their respective capital for investment in Cambodia.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also took the opportunity to explain the necessity to build new international airports in Siem Reap cultural province and Phnom Penh capital in order to attract international tourists of up to 15 to 20 million visitors as planned.
