Cambodian Environment Minister Receives USAID Delegation

Cambodian Minister of Environment H.E. Say Samal met here yesterday afternoon with a delegation of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) led by its Mission Director for Cambodia Ms. Polly Dunford.

According to the Ministry of Environment’s news release, the meeting touched on the cooperation between the ministry and different U.S. agencies on environmental protection, natural resource management, biodiversity preservation and sustainable development.

H.E. Minister informed the USAID delegation of the outcome of Cambodia’s in-depth reform in the fields of environment and natural resources.

H.E. Say Samal also welcomed the intention of USAID and other U.S. agencies to tighten and expand the cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and suggested both sides to continue to work closely together.
