Cambodian First Lady Receives Her Malaysian Counterpart

First Lady of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) received her Malaysian counterpart H.E. Mrs. Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali at the CRC headquarters here in Phnom Penh.

In the meeting yesterday, Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen warmly welcomed and spoke highly of the visit of the Malaysian First Lady.

She shared with her guest about indispensable role of youth, about 30,000 in total now, in humanitarian activities of the CRC.

The CRC, added Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, also cooperates closely with Malaysian Red Crescent Society that lately sent 40 volunteers to work in Siem Reap province of Cambodia.

For her part, H.E. Mrs. Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali appreciated Cambodia's rapid development in all sectors in the last 20 years, as well as active humanitarian role of the Cambodian Red Cross under the leadership of Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen.

H.E. Mrs. Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali informed the Cambodian First Lady that the administration of her husband has initiated a world peace foundation in order to promote peaceful mindset especially among students and young generations.
