Cambodian Foreign Minister To Co-Chair Cambodia-Myanmar JCBC Meeting Later This Month

Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Prak Sokhonn will lead a delegation to attend and co-chair the 2nd Meeting of Cambodia-Myanmar Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) from Jan. 31 to Feb.1, 2019 in Myanmar.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, this meeting will take place in Nay Pyi Taw, at the invitation of H.E. U Kyaw Tin, Union Minister for International Cooperation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

This 2nd JCBC meeting will assess the results of the past and ongoing cooperation and explore new area for further cooperation to advance socio-economic progress and prosperity of the two peoples and contribute to peace and development in the region.

While staying in Nay Pyi Taw, H.E. Prak Sokhonn will pay separate courtesy calls on H.E. U Win Myint, President of Myanmar and H.E. Ms. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar.
