Cambodian NA President Departs for Vietnam

After wrapping up successfully his three-day official visit in Lao PDR this morning, Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia, continued his visit to Hanoi, Vietnam until June 26.

According to the General Secretariat of Cambodian NA, Samdech Heng Samrin’s visit in Lao PDR was concluded with fruitful results. While in Vientiane, the Cambodian NA president held talks with Lao top leaders including NA President H.E. Ms. Pany Yathotou, Prime Minister H.E. Thongloun Sisoulith, and President H.E. Bounhang Vorachit, as well as meet with Cambodian students pursuing their studies in Laos.

During his stay in Vietnam, it pointed out, Samdech Heng Samrin will pay courtesy calls on Vietnamese top leaders as well as take part in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Vietnam and in the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Front Presidium Conference.

The Cambodian NA delegation is scheduled to return home on June 26, said the same source.
